From a helicopter view of Vick's property, it looked like a professional kennel. At ground level it was dog hell. Injured and scared from dog fights, as many as 60 dogs were found in various stages of ill health.

The grisly images captured by the HSUS team the last few days have brought home how horrible this hunt really is. Many killed pups were almost entirely covered with white fur so they were just 2 weeks old. As sealers raised their clubs, the pups made a pathetic stand, rearing their tiny heads back & crying. But the clubs smashed down every time

Xiongsen is the world's biggest battery farm for rare animals, including 1,300 tigers. The stock is worth hundreds of millions of dollars in China. Until now there has been a ban on tiger products, but that could be about to change. After a decade of lobbying by Xiongsen, China is preparing to call for a lifting of the ban.

Two employees of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) are facing felony animal-cruelty charges today in Hertford County Superior Court. And the Center for Consumer Freedom (CCF) is running a full-page ad in The New York Times simply stating the fact that PETA KILLS ANIMALS.
